About the ManuTrain - Strap System

Description

The two-part strap system of the ManuTrain restricts the range of motion of the wrist, but not of the fingers. It enables three different activity levels and can thus be individually adapted to the pain severity.

The strap system consists of a semi-elastic stabilizing strap and an elastic fascia strap. These are connected with Velcro and fastened to marked areas of the support. Together they are wrapped around the hand along the gray strap guiding lines on the support and provide stabilization in case of severe pain with the maximum possible immobilization of the wrist. As soon as the pain subsides and hand mobility can be trained, the stabilizing strap can be removed from the fascia strap, and then the fascia strap alone is tightened in a circle around the wrist. The highest level of activity with unrestricted wrist mobility is achieved when the strap system is completely removed.

Both straps can be washed at 30 degrees like the support. For protection, their Velcro fastenings should be folded over and attached to the velour for this purpose.

The strap system is offered in two sizes for the ManuTrain. The length of Size 1 fits on standard support sizes 1 and 2, Size 2 fits on standard support sizes 3 to 6.
